John Adams
John is our MEP designer and has contributed greatly to the company’s success since his arrival in 2004. He has extensive experience in the areas of structural inspections, HVAC design, electrical design, plumbing system design, and fire protection systems, from the initial design through field construction. His experience includes projects in the commercial, religious, health, and private sectors.
Prior to joining Northpoint, John was the designer for C.V. Johnston and Associates, Inc. Working with the principal engineer in performing field inspection, calculations, and construction documents for HVAC systems, Electrical Systems, and Plumbing systems.
He also has experience coordinating Fire Protection systems and Structural systems designs. Among John’s other accomplishments, was the creation of the structural analysis program for Holophane, Inc. a Newark-based light manufacturing company.

30+ years of engineering, construction, and inspection experience - American Wood Council – Completed structural coursework on the 2015 National Design Standard
