Phil Claggett

After spending 5 years working in the construction industry during his undergraduate work at The Ohio State University Phil spent the following 10 years continuing his education and experience as an intern architect under Harden & Reid Architects Inc. in Newark Oh. Upon receiving his Ohio registration to practice Architecture in 1999 he has spent the last 23 years applying his practical architectural experience and hands-on construction methods to numerous projects throughout Ohio. As the principal architect of Northpoint, he will oversee all aspects of the designs produced and will be responsible for In-house coordination as well as team coordination among all consultants. He will also be the primary contact with the client to ensure that the original conception and ultimate design meet the requirements/needs of the owner.

His common-sense approach to business and architecture has played a vital role in the success of this company and its clients.  Through his direction, Northpoint has developed programs to provide clients with assistance in problem-solving, creative planning, and financial strategies, to uncover workable solutions.

Phil has always taken an active, innovative role in finding new solutions and establishing new industry standards.  He and this company strive to set architectural and construction examples with unique projects, created to meet our client’s programmatic objectives and their budget and schedule.
